The story of Mindgrasp began when, as a close-knit group of hard-working university students, we realized that there was a significant problem with how reading material was assigned across our classes. Students would typically have 3-5 classes a day, most of which assigned multiple readings to be completed by the next time the class met. This, coupled with extracurricular responsibilities, resulted in an almost impossible amount of reading material to complete by the next class - leaving students no choice but to go to class having not been able to read all of the material thus lacking the comprehension necessary to contribute to class discussions or get the most out of their lectures. While envisioning potential solutions to this problem, we thought about how amazing it would be to have a tool that gives students the ability to fully understand the content of their readings both faster and better. That’s when Mindgrasp was born - a tool created by students for students that would make it physically possible to understand all class content and maximize course comprehension, with an emphasis on speed and accuracy. 

Our Mission

Our mission is to maximize the learning potential of students and help them get the most out of their classes, all while saving them time and making their course work more manageable. Given our own prior experiences, we want to ensure that students have a platform that gives them the ability to no longer miss important course content.
